Museumsradeln - Von Wiener Neustadt in die Bucklige Welt und in´s Wechselland

From the Wr. Neustadt train station, the tour first follows EuroVelo 9, passing the Katzelsdorf Tin Figure World and the Hacker Haus in Bad Erlach. In Scheiblingkirchen, we make a short detour to Thernberg to visit the Archduke Johann Exhibition, and then return to EuroVelo 9. We’ll continue along the bike path all the way to Aspang and the Automobile Museum. At the first hairpin turn toward Mönichkirchen, we’ll switch to the Zöbernbach Bike Path, which first takes us to the Krumbach Museum Village and then on to the Sconarium in Bad Schönau.

We recommend wearing a bike helmet on rides. Wear appropriate clothing and sturdy shoes. Remember to bring protection from the rain and sun. Be sure to bring plenty to drink.

From Vienna and Graz, depart from the center of Wiener Neustadt and head toward the train station.

Getting to Wiener Neustadt: Regular train service from Vienna and Graz.

Return trip to Wiener Neustadt: Take the regional bus from the Bad Schönau/Abzwg. B55 stop to the Edlitz-Grimmenstein train station, then take the Aspangbahn back to Wiener Neustadt.
