Kleine Erlauftalradweg (former Meridian bike route)

In the brewery town of Wieselburg , the Kleine Erlauf flows into the Große Erlauf - and the newly designed "Zwiesel" with its resting places is also the starting point for the Kleine Erlauftal cycle path. From Wieselburg, you can explore the Kleine Erlauf for 35 kilometers. On the way south, there are always great views of the Mostviertel mountain area - and historic castles and well-developed playgrounds line the way.

You cycle through the charming Little Erlauf Valley - past old pear trees and insider tips such as the Mostviertel Solstice Circle or the ruins of Perwarth Castle.

An alternative route leads from Wang via the Ewixengraben to the cultural village of Reinsberg with its famous castle arena. At the end point in Kienberg-Gaming, the tour can be extended in the direction of Gaming and Lunz am See - or you can cycle back to Wieselburg on the Erlauftal cycle path.

Attention detour:

Due to the Pulvermühlweg footbridge in Bodensdorf being closed, the Erlauftal Cycle Path and the Little Erlauftal Cycle Path between Bodensdorf and Wieselburg are currently taking an alternative route. This leads via Haag and Pfarrhofgasse. The new route is signposted. After the renovation of the footbridge, which is expected to take a few months, the cycle route will return to the original route.
