The route begins on Rolandgasse in Weiten and initially leads past the sports field along quiet forest and woodland trails toward Mollendorf. The route continues along farm roads and little-traveled state roads toward Seiterndorf and back toward Weiten, before winding through varied fields and woods through the charming countryside to the Spielerkreuz lookout point and on to Lohsdorf.
It then crosses the historic Roman bridge to Aichau and continues through Eitental, past the wildlife park and the Hubertus Chapel, all the way to Fahnsdorf. Via Kuffarn, Filsendorf, and Schießgrub, the route finally follows the Three Churches Hiking Trail to Heiligenblut.
