Eichelberg-Strecke

At the start of the route, we pass the Stierhübelteich nature reserve. After following some beautiful forest trails, we cross the state highway toward Stadelberg. From there, we really work our calves on the climb up the Aichelberg. Halfway up the mountain, we turn left toward the source of the Lainsitz. From there, the trail takes us back to Karlstift via forest roads.

Coming from St. Pölten, take the S33 to Krems, then the B37 and B38 to Karlstift.

Coming from Vienna, take the A22 and S5 to Krems, then the B37 and B38 to Karlstift.

Coming from the west: Take the A1 to Linz, then the A7 to Unterweitersdorf, then the S10 to the Sandl exit, and finally the B38 to Karlstift.
