Tafalla - Olite - Tafalla. The heart of Zona Media

In the urban area of Tafalla, the head town of the comarca which holds significant historical and cultural heritage, we will ride on a bike lane. Not so in Olite, where the absence of this lane is offset by low traffic.

The route is signposted in the interurban section, which runs over a compacted gravel surface with practically no slope. Along the way, you cross areas of orchards irrigated by canals and ditches, and near Olite, the "capital" of Navarrese wine, the vineyards play a special role, surrounding the headquarters of the Navarra Viticulture and Enology Station.

Once in this town it is impossible not to succumb to the charm of this medieval village, whose cobbled streets and majestic castle take us back to its time of greatest splendour.
