From the Koralpe ski area, take the panoramic trail westwards to the sunny side of the Koralpe. The destination is the Sonnhof guesthouse with delicious regional specialties. Walking time both ways approx. two hours and with 150 meters of ascent, a very easy winter hike for the whole family.
Note: The trail can be partially icy in winter. When crossing pistes, walk as quickly as possible and individually or keep distances between each other. Keep dogs on a leash.
From the parking lot by the practice lift, follow the panoramic trail westwards towards the Burgstalofen-Bahn. After about 0.6 km, you must cross the Burgstalofen ski slope. Be careful when crossing the ski slope!
Afterwards, the path gently ascends towards Trattenofen. A typical rock formation on the Koralpe. Continue along the hiking trail, accompanied by a beautiful winter landscape with magnificent views of the Lavant Valley, until you reach the Sonnhof guesthouse on the Goding. Stop for a warming drink and one of the many Lavant Valley specialties to regain strength for the return journey.

From Graz/Klagenfurt: A2 Süd Autobahn - Wolfsberg Süd exit - 1st roundabout, second exit towards St. Stefan/Koralpe - 2nd roundabout, second exit towards St. Johann/Koralpe - after approx. 500 m turn left following signs/Koralpe - about 8 km to the Koralpe parking lot.
