Lake circular path

Basically, you can start this route from any point around the lake. A possible starting point is the tourist information in Faak am See, from where you walk out of Faak via the Fliederweg and Kirchenweg paths. Shortly before the federal road leads into a wooded area, a forest path leads towards Drobollach (always follow the lake circular path signs). Before Drobollach, you leave the forest again and follow the federal road for a short stretch. Just before the climb to Drobollach, a small field path leads to the lakeside promenade, which you follow further towards Egg. After a short break at the Egger Martel with a fantastic view, you continue to Egg. In Egg you can either choose the direct path along the federal road or walk past Egg Church parallel to the federal road through the forest. On this latter path, you come out of the forest again at Hotel Sonnblick and turn right onto the street. Passing the campsites, it goes along the lake back to Faak.

You can reach every point around the lake by postbuses, and Faak is additionally accessible by ÖBB trains.
