Saualpe: hike to the Ladinger Hütte
From Gießlhütte, take a forest road to Ladinger Hütte. Since the Ladinger Hütte is not operated in winter, it is perfect for those ski tourers seeking some peace and relaxation.
The starting point of the snowshoe hike is the parking lot at Gießlhütte. From the parking lot, about 500 m along the forest road to the fork. Turn right (signpost Ladingerhütte) and follow the hiking trail number 5a. Along the trail, through a beautiful winter forest, it is about 5 km to the Ladinger Hütte (only open in summer). After a long break, return relaxed on the same path.
