The charming herb gardens, the HerbBarn PfarrStadel, and the magnificent location with fragrant, blooming meadows high above the Drava Valley have given the small mountain village of Irschen the nickname "Herb Village." On a walk – with or without a guide – through the herb village you will discover colorful herb gardens, admire the floral ceiling frescoes of the St. Dionysius parish church, and enjoy the diverse herb delicacies at the HerbBarn PfarrStradel.
From the Drava Cycle Path, turn towards Glanz, and come via the district of Rittersdorf into the center of Irschen. Return to Dellach via Potschling, the Irschen train station, and then along the Drava Cycle Path (R1) to the train station in Dellach.
Follow the signs to the train station on the B100, in the Dellach town area.
You can reach the Drava Cycle Path in about 1 minute from the train station (about 400m). In Irschen, the Drava Cycle Path is located very close to the train station.
