This route leads from the gunsmith town of Ferlach along the Drau cycle path to Lake Faak. Except for a short section from Ferlach to the Drau cycle path and from St. Niklas to Lake Faak, the entire route is a cycle path. In Feistritz im Rosental, a detour to the artist village Suetschach with the Krampus house and blacksmith museum is worthwhile. In Frög and Rosegg, several excursion destinations are waiting to be discovered: the Celtic World Frög, the animal park, the castle, and the Rosegg labyrinth. The route continues along the Drau cycle path to the Flachwasserbiotop Föderlach nature reserve. At the end of the route, a short but steep climb from St. Niklas to Lake Faak awaits. A reward for the effort is the view at the wayside shrine in Egg.
