Transfer Alban Berg Uphill Trail - T79 and Alban Berg Trail - T78

The transfer Alban Berg Uphill Trail - T79 and Alban Berg Trail - T78 starts above the district of Heiligengestade directly next to the R2A cycle path.

Start of the access

To reach the transfer path, it is best to start from one of the parking lots in the town center of Ossiach. Starting from the parking lot in front of the town hall, all transfer paths (access paths) to the trails are also signposted.

Route description

Starting from the town hall in Ossiach, first drive towards the main road (L49). At the junction with the L49, turn right and follow the R2A cycle path westward for about 5 km. At the entrance to Camping Berghof, turn left at the sign "Transfer Alban Berg Trail" and from here follow the signposted forest road to the start of the Uphill Trail.

Riding the trail is only permitted with the necessary protective gear (helmet, glasses, gloves, protectors, and suitable shoes) and a mountain bike appropriate for this area of use!

It is also recommended to have a working mobile phone for emergency calls and, of course, for taking photos, a first aid kit, sufficient fluids, and a second suitable person to ride the trail together with.
