Start in Gratschach near Villach:

Starting from Gratschach near Villach, you first ride along the road towards Zauchen/Wernberg. After a few minutes, you reach a forest road. Follow this for about 10 km along the signposting "Castle route No.13" until you reach the bike path R2A (Lake Ossiacher See cycle path). Here turn left towards Villach and follow the bike path to Landskron, where you ride briefly along the main road to the traffic light, where you turn left towards Zauchen/Wernberg. After a short ride along the side road, you reach the starting point of the route.

However, the route can also be ridden from Ossiach. For this, starting from Ossiach, first follow the cycle path R2A to Landskron and then follow the description above.

This route can also be combined with MTB routes 10, 11, 12, 14 and subsequently with route 11 also with the Castle bike path.
