Despite its name, this route is nothing infernal. On the contrary, it is said that the village at the start of this route: Belleuse, was formerly called "Bellevue".
From the square of the Saint-Pierre church dating from the 11th century and rebuilt in the 19th century, take the GR125. This long-distance hiking trail connects Île de France to the Baie de Somme over 250 km. Cross the woods in the Vallée d’Enfer to head towards Monsures. In the 15th century, a fortress protected the Monsures inhabitants who nowadays see only its gate flanked by two rather dilapidated towers. At the entrance of the current château from 1650, restored in the 19th century, a statue of Our Lady keeps watch. Continue on the Coulée Verte, a hiking trail developed on the former railway line that once linked Amiens to Beauvais, up to Luzières before returning to the starting point.
