Haiming / Niedergottsau

The municipality of Haiming is located in the district of Altötting and is the lowest-lying municipality in Upper Bavaria. It lies directly at the confluence of the rivers Inn and Salzach.

The nearby nature reserve Lower Inn is a designated European reserve with an exceptional diversity of bird species. From observation huts situated on the dike and equipped with information panels, visitors can watch them at leisure.
