Alp Casanna

The Kuhalp Casanna is grazed by the Alp cooperative Buchen/Lunden with around 150 cows, cattle, and calves. In the summer months, in addition to about 8,000 kg of alpine cheese, alpine butter and whey are also produced. At the Klosters Platz stop, you change to the Gotschnabahn and comfortably take the gondola up to the Gotschnagrat. Follow the hiking trail going right and the signage to Alp Casanna, after about 50 minutes of descent you will reach the lower pasture of Alp Casanna. Other access options are available from Conters via Conterser Schwendi/Erezsäss or from Serneus as well.
