The path then leads to Mont Sainte-Odile, a summit topped by a convent. The Mont is now an important pilgrimage site and it is possible to eat there and spend the night. The Mont Sainte-Odile plateau is also surrounded by a "Pagan Wall".
The path descends to the plain into the wine-producing village of Barr.
Follow the red rectangle signposting of the Club Vosgien.
