Liechtenstein Trail with e-bike stage 3: Bendern-Schaanwald

Start in Bendern, right at the post office. First, you cycle comfortably along the Rhine dam for a stretch before the route leads you to the Grossabünt bathing lake in Gamprin. On warm days, just the right spot for a refreshing break. Then it continues past lush meadows and through shady forests to Ruggell. The northernmost municipality of Liechtenstein impresses nature enthusiasts with a nature reserve of around 90 hectares – perfect for experiencing flora and fauna up close.

The short ascent to Schellenberg is rewarded with a magnificent view: on clear days, the view extends as far as Lake Constance. Afterwards, it goes steeply down to the charming village center of Mauren. Quiet Riedstrassen roads then lead you to Schaanwald and finally to the customs office at the Austrian border.
