Small but beautiful, the Reßnig leisure complex with free access to the lake in front of the impressive panorama of the Karawanks presents its charm and private character. Here you can let yourself be pampered by the South Carinthian sun and spend the day comfortably away from the overcrowded beach resorts.

The complex is located on the right bank of the Drava in the northern part of the municipality and can be easily reached by car and by bike along the Drava cycle path. The lake, which is on average 6 and a maximum of 10 meters deep, has an average temperature of 23°C and is fed exclusively by groundwater. It was created in 1976 in connection with the damming of the Drava to form the Ferlach reservoir. Due to the high degree of groundwater renewal, the water quality can be described as excellent. This is also confirmed by the quality tests carried out regularly.

Infrastructure
The Reßnig leisure complex has a lot to offer you - in addition to the sanitary facilities, there are two beach volleyball courts, a calisthenics facility that opened this year, and a children's play area with a playhouse and a water play facility.

Dog run zone
A dog run zone has been set up for your four-legged friend on the west bank of the lake.

Parkplatzgebühren
Für die Erhaltung der Anlage wird auf dem Parkplatz eine Parkraumbewirtschaftung durchgeführt. Während der Betriebszeiten von 1. Mai bis 30. September jeden Jahres wird dafür ein geringer Verwaltungskostenanteil eingehoben. Ein Tagesticket für Ihr mehrspuriges KFZ kann beim Parkautomaten erworben werden und kostet € 7,50. Ab 16:30 Uhr kommt der Stundentarif von € 2,00 zur Anwendung. Fahrräder und einspurige KFZs können kostenfrei abgestellt werden.
Für jene die häufig die Freizeitanlage besuchen wollen, besteht die Möglichkeit eine Saisonkarte dafür zu kaufen. Diese sind ab Ende April/Anfang Mai nur in der Tourismusinformation Rosental im Schloss Ferlach erhältlich und kosten € 75,-. Im Sinne der Gerechtigkeit werden während der Saison regelmäßige Kontrollen durchgeführt. Eine Nichtbeachtung der Entrichtung der Parkgebühr wird ausnahmslos mit einer Strafe in der Höhe von € 30,- geahndet.
