The asphalted Lange Lacke cycle path (B27) starts in Apetlon and leads past the Lange Lacke parking lot – here you can turn directly to the “Lange Lacke” (the path is gravelled) and enjoy nature. The Lange Lacke is the largest of over 40 saline ponds in the Seewinkel and a paradise for water birds. The cycle path also leads past the Steppentierpark Pamhagen. In this approximately 13 ha large area, you can walk through a largely untouched piece of nature and see and partly feed about 50 different animal species. Just before the Steppentierpark Pamhagen you also have the option to take a variant towards Wallern.

The Lange Lacke cycle path (B27) is mostly asphalted.

Austria: Bicycle helmet use is mandatory for children up to 12 years old. Reflective vests are not mandatory at dusk, darkness or poor visibility, but are definitely advantageous. Here is the Austrian bicycle ordinance.
Slovakia: Bicycle helmets are mandatory for all children under 15 years. For adults, helmet use is only mandatory outside urban areas. However, adults are strongly recommended to always wear a helmet. Cyclists riding on the roadside in reduced visibility must wear visible signaling elements or a reflective vest.
Hungary: There is no helmet obligation for cyclists. The maximum speed for cyclists outside built-up areas is 40 km/h. A speed of 50 km/h is allowed if the cyclist wears a helmet. At night and in poor visibility, all cyclists must wear a reflective vest.
