Arrival by train:
Lake Neusiedl is easily and comfortably accessible by train. Whether you are arriving from Switzerland, Germany, western or southern Austria: you can change trains comfortably at Vienna main station. The regional trains of ÖBB bring you in just under 40 minutes to Neusiedl am See station, where coordinated bus and train connections towards Pamhagen / Fertöszentmiklos or Eisenstadt and Sopron are offered. On most trains, bicycles can be taken along: a reservation for your bicycle is absolutely necessary on Railjet and EC/IC as well as on Nightjets. In regional trains, your bicycle is taken along without reservation subject to availability of bicycle spaces.
