Arrival by train:
Lake Neusiedl is easy and comfortable to reach by train. Whether you travel from Switzerland, Germany, western or southern Austria: you can change trains relaxedly at Vienna Main Station. The ÖBB regional trains take you in just under 40 minutes to Neusiedl am See station, where coordinated bus and train connections towards Pamhagen / FertÅszentmiklós or Eisenstadt and Sopron are also offered. Bicycle transport is possible on most trains: on Railjet, EC/IC and Nightjets a reservation for your bike is absolutely necessary. On regional trains your bike is carried without reservation subject to availability of bicycle spaces.
