Only the Lafnitz separates the picturesque Rudersdorf from Styria and the nearby old town of Fürstenfeld. The Batthyány Castle on the southeastern edge of the town once served as a textile factory site; today the building, surrounded by a small park, is empty. At the Paradiesbetrieb Fritz Mühle, pumpkin seeds have been ground and pressed on traditional stone mills for over 100 years. Use this regional specialty as a tasty and healthy travel snack. If you feel like an exquisite meal, you should stop by the acclaimed Landgasthof Leitgeb „Zum alten Weinstock“ (E-bike rental). At Himler Fruit Processing, fine fruit juices and noble spirits, especially from apricots, are produced. And the Kleber winery awaits you with a small but very exclusive range of fine wines.
The tower of the Catholic parish church in Dobersdorf greets the land with its onion dome. The town has a department store where you can do some small shopping. The path now leads straight to Königsdorf, which lies dreamily by a natural bathing lake (E-bike rental at Gasthof Jaindl). The Thamhesls farm shop offers paradisiacal finest sausages and smoked goods, spreads, and pumpkin seed products, including the widely known pumpkin seed Uhudler sausage.

After Königsdorf, you cross the Lafnitz and reach Gillersdorf. From here, it's just a short jump through the wonderful Hofwald forest to the Lebenstherme Loipersdorf. "Let go – experience – strengthen" is the motto here for guests seeking adventure as well as peace. Whether fun park with five spectacular slides or indoor water playground, whether sun sauna or spa, every wellness need is catered to.

Passing Grieselstein (refreshment stop) and along the stream you arrive in Jennersdorf. Passing the outdoor pool (E-bike rental at the nearby campsite) you cross the romantic small town and leave it past the factory premises of the terry cloth manufacturer Vossen (factory outlet).

Neumarkt an der Raab is famous far beyond Südburgenland as an artists’ village. Internationally known artists have lived and worked here. Original old buildings - including an oil mill and straw-thatched farmhouses - serve as workshop and event spaces for various cultural activities (courses, performances, summer academy, etc.). Nearby St. Martin an der Raab is known for its Roman excavations. Be sure to visit the Roman Museum at the main square (E-bike rental at Martinistüberl Koller). Shortly after the village, you will find a sculpture park directly on the bike path, created by the sculptor Peter Pilz and continually expanded with works of international artists. Particularly impressive is the huge sculpture "Torony," made from two Hungarian border guard towers. For recharging your personal batteries, a stopover at the resort hotel "Das Eisenberg" is recommended. Through the fascinating riparian landscape, you now reach Oberdrosen with its listed Marian chapel in the Kölbereck district. The tri-border Austria – Hungary – Slovenia is nearby.

In Tauka, refresh yourself in one of the wine taverns; more rest opportunities can be found in Neuhaus am Klausenbach. "Wine is a poem the winemaker writes with grapes," as fittingly said at the paradisiacal Zieger winery, where on nice days you can taste the wine directly in the vineyard while splashing in one of the old bathtubs (E-bike rental at Gasthof „Zur Burgruine“ Sampl). Over Mühlgraben (E-bike rental at the municipal office), a long curve leads you to Minihof-Liebau, where the romantic canopy beds of the Naturidyll-Hotel Landhofmühle invite you to spend the night.
