Cloverleaf hike - towards Schönbronn - Route 1

Past the monastery complex at Schäferlaufplatz onto the Nagold Valley cycle path. Over the new cycle path bridge along the town wall to the historic Hirschbrücke. The B463 is crossed at the pedestrian crossing, and over the stairs at the road bridge, it continues along the Nagold river bank to the Gutleutbrücke. There begins the approx. 1 km long ascent through the romantically wild Lützen Gorge. Reaching the top, turn right towards Kengelhöfe. After the bridge over the Lützengraben, there is a short steep ascent to Färberhof. From there, go straight ahead, turn left at Kengel airfield, and at the Bulacher Weg junction, turn right toward the biotope. At the biotope, turn left and continue over well-developed paths with a steady slight ascent toward Schönbronn. Past Schönbronn cemetery, turn left again onto Hofweg. Here is the highest point of the hike at 551 m above sea level. From the top, head back toward Wildberg with a magnificent view of the Gäu. Walking through fields, near Kronenhof you reach Bulacher Weg again. Then downhill toward Wildberg with a magnificent view of the town. Pass Schwanenbuckel, turn right into Kochsteige, and take the direct path down to Klosterbrücke and back to the starting point, Maria Reuthin monastery complex.
