Feldberg gnome trail
The perfect hike for big and small explorers.
Velt, the Feldberg gnome, lives in an enchanted forest high up on the Feldberg with his friends Wuchtig, the innkeeper of the Wirtshaus zur süßen Heidelbeere, Violetta Waldfee and Hypogymnus Flechtel from the Waldapotheke.
One day, Ferdinand, the postman from the gnome post office, brings a letter for Anton Auerhahn. But he can't find the big bird anywhere. So Ferdinand asks the Feldberg gnome Velt and his friends for help. Velt accompanies him on his search.
Do you want to discover whether they have found Anton and what is written in the letter? At the beautiful forest playground, towards the end of the 2.1 km trail, you will find out what capercaillies need to live, why they eat stones as well as food and much more!

If you are keen, interested and above all not afraid, you can climb high up in the trees in the climbing forest at the Familotel Feldberger Hof afterwards.
