From the Hesse Museum Gaienhofen, proceed via Kapellenstraße to the Tourist Information with the Dix sculpture. You walk on the footpath next to the main road towards the town exit, cross the parking lot of the Höri market, turn left and take the agricultural path straight into the vineyard landscape. After the left turn, leave the Hesse School on your left and take the ascent to the right through the orchards up to the pear tree on the hill. Following the road straight ahead, you reach the Segeten nature reserve. To the left it goes uphill to the mighty walnut tree. Shortly before the main road, turn right onto the field path and follow the forest edge until it goes downhill to the right again. The hiking trail leads right past the Hinteregg farm to the water tower. Back on Weilerstraße towards Horn, turn left downhill at the town entrance towards Gundholzen. At the street intersection below, cross the street and turn half right onto the hiking trail to Horn. Halfway there, the next fork leads you down towards the Lake Constance shore. You meet the Lake Constance cycle path and follow it to Hornstaad. Arriving at Hornstaaderstraße, go downhill to the Horn harbor. Right at the dinghy storage, a small footpath leads along the reeds and the fence of the beach back onto the bike path. At the end of the beach, between hedges, the lakeside footpath turns left to Gaienhofen. You stroll along this until, after the bathing spot, you encounter another nature path that leads you from the lake shore up towards the town. The street "Im Bänkle" leads to the main street, after crossing it you enter Kapellenstraße and thus reach the Hesse Museum and the end of the route.
