Paths through God's Creation - In Heavenly Peace

We begin our circular hike at the Zuflucht bus stop, opposite the Sporthotel Zuflucht. We follow the Westweg (red lozenge) towards Ruhestein.

A small detour to the Rossstein viewpoint is worthwhile.

Reflection 1 to arrive

The path goes over rocky trails first through the forest, then on gravel paths through a clearing. The federal road can still be heard and partly seen.

Reflection 2

At the Schwarze Lache junction, we turn right to the Panoramaweg. We follow the yellow lozenge towards Buhlbacher Läger and Buhlbachsee. After crossing the federal road B 500 (the Zuflucht parking sign is visible), the path goes comfortably downhill on wide tracks.

Reflection 3

After Buhlbacher Läger, we turn right to Hahnenmisse. Again, we turn right and follow a long section along the Spaltbächle stream.

 Just before the Bärenteichhütte, we follow the blue lozenge upwards towards Buhlbachsee.

 We use the climb for a body meditation (Reflection 5).

 We arrive at Buhlbachsee, enjoy the calm, and

After a break, we start the return journey. At the Buhlbachsee junction, we climb uphill on wild paths towards Zuflucht.

Reflection 7

 Along the way, we cross the B500 again and finally reach the Sporthotel Zuflucht via a short section of the Westweg.

Weatherproof clothing: sun protection, rain protection, and warm clothing, insect repellent

Food and drink are recommended

Sturdy footwear. The last section goes up steep paths.
