Smučišče Speikboden – Skiworld Ahrntal

Speikboden in the Skiworld Ahrntal is a snow-reliable, family-friendly ski area in the Ahrntal Valley. It features 8 ski lifts, and 41.5 kilometers of slopes offer plenty of skiing fun from the summit (2,400 m) down to the valley (950 m). A wide variety within the area and very wide slopes delight both beginners and ski professionals. In summer, Speikboden is an excellent hiking destination!

The system uses the ROPERA® standard by LEITNER. The new 6-seater chairlift „Bernhard Glück“ in the South Tyrolean ski area Speikboden went into operation in December 2025 and is the world's first installation based on this innovative standard.
Key details about the new chairlift:

• World Premiere: It is the first ropeway worldwide equipped with Leitner's new ROPERA® standard for monocable detachable ropeways (a fundamental advancement in the carriage, grip, station mechanics, and control system).
• Comfort & Features: The detachable 6-seater high-speed chairlift is equipped with weather protection hoods (bubbles).
