Circular hiking trail - Dürrenbach

Starting point is the parking lot at the silo in Grumbach, directly on the Rennsteig. From here, the path leads over the Glass Hill with a beautiful view past the Dürrenbach spring to Dürrenbach. The path returns to Grumbach via a forest road with many information boards.

Pay special attention to secure footing on the steep ascent traps. Especially after rain and in the transitional seasons, the paths can have a difficult structure.

From the A9 exit 29 Bad Lobenstein, take B90 towards Bad Lobenstein and continue to Wurzbach, then 5 km to the district Dürrenbach.

You can reach Dürrenbach by bus from Wurzbach station with Deutsche Bahn trains.
