From the tourist information, past the spa park and spa, right through the railway bridge, up Hirschberger Straße and crossing B90. Keep right onto Saalburger Way to the Green Donkey with information boards. Follow the signposting here. Past a forest tavern, cross the Friesaubach and then take the path uphill, later keep right. At Heinrichstein you stand on a rock ledge about 120 m above the water level of the Saale and enjoy a picturesque view of the Bleiloch reservoir in every season. The path then leads above the shelter hut on the right to the Poller Hut. Here keep sharp left and along the Friesaubach again towards Green Donkey. The path back to the spa town leads over the Gallenberg and past the thermal spring with a wonderful view of the town.
