Starting from Hotel Serpiano, the new circular route introduces the splendid nature and landscapes of Monte San Giorgio, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Easily rideable with special three-wheeled bikes, it can also be used by able-bodied people who want to experience something different.
The 5 km route mainly winds through the forest and can be safely completed in about 45 minutes.
A shared project born thanks to the fruitful collaboration of the Regional Tourist Organization with Hotel Serpiano and the Paralympic athlete from Stabio Murat Pelit, founder and president of the Ti-Rex Sport association. The Ti-Rex Sport association was created with the goal of encouraging as many people with motor disabilities as possible to practice unimaginable sports.
The special bikes can be rented starting from spring 2021 at Hotel Serpiano. For those who want to try it for the first time, it will also be possible to be accompanied by an introduction.
