Near Levo, along the route, there is a valuable wetland area where you can see grazing cows during summer. You can also take a dip to refresh on the route, while those seeking harder training can take advantage of outdoor exercise equipment found along the route. There is a barbeque area at the starting point at Yyteri square. The route has several stretches suitable for cycling over wooden boardwalks, the longest called Golfpolku (Golf Trail) just behind Yyteri beach.
This trail is open during the snow-free season, as part of the route is a ski track in winter.
The Karhuluodon kierros is about a 10-kilometer long circular route, and can be ridden with basic cycling skills, for example with a mountain bike or fatbike. The recommended direction to follow the route is clockwise, meaning from Yyteri square it is advisable to continue towards the Yyterin Virkistyshotelli. After the hotel, continue past Surf Center Yyteri along the wide boardwalk and sandy roads towards Yyteri Golf. From Yyteri Golf, the route goes through the pastures and residential areas of the Levo area, and guides the rider through the forests via Adventure Park Huikee back near Yyteri square. At the final stage, the route connects to other routes passing through Yyteri square.

It is advisable to bring weather-appropriate clothes, good outdoor shoes, snacks, and drinks. Binoculars are also a good addition for birdwatching in nature.

Bird nesting and animals must not be disturbed. Walking and cycling on top of the dunes is prohibited. This is an official mountain bike route, but there are restrictions for cycling in the Yyteri area.
