For all those willing to enter this gorge with a bit of imagination and spirit of adventure, a magical world inhabited by goblins, elves, and trolls opens up. Equipped with the explorer map (distribution points), you set out to solve the riddles surrounding the goblin Quinn and his friends. "Under the Spell of the Trolls" is best suited for kids aged 8 to 11 but is also open to all other young and grown-up adventurers eager to immerse themselves in the magical world.
The adventure trail is also part of the "Hiking with Kids" program in the Salzburger Saalach Valley. Duration and difficulty level are designed for children and families.
The start of the route is at the parking lot near the Wildental Bridge. Listen to the first stories in the app here before equipping yourself with the explorer map (distribution points) and entering the adventure game. You follow the path from station to station. The hiking trail leads upstream between the Saalach and the road to the hydroelectric power plant near Thurnbauer. Cross the Thurn Bridge and then follow the hiking trail downstream to the left. But who knows where the explorer map will lead you.
