The route is suitable for sunny days, the path is barely sheltered in the forest and therefore offers fantastic views and vistas. Dining option is provided by the small inn at the Schauflugzeug in Cämmerswalde (closed Monday and Tuesday).
Start at the Waldhotel Kreuztannenstraße, along the Kreuztannenstraße towards Cämmerswalde. After the small section of forest, take the path to the right past the two small fish ponds. In Cämmerswalde, cross the main road - follow the signs towards the oil mill (out of service), follow the Schauflugzeug. On the paved road, turn right towards the reservoir until the water house. Here, follow the path along the water to return to Cämmerswalde. At the "Blockline-Bank" turn left towards the Schauflugzeug. After a rest at the aircraft, head back towards the hotel. Cross the main road and go through the courtyard towards Kreuztannenstraße.
