On the apple avenue to Schlottwitz and on to the fairytale meadow

The tour starts at the Cunnersdorf youth club. Not far from the parking lot, there is a very nice adventure playground for romping and climbing. The hiking trail (red dot) is signposted directly from there. The apple avenue runs along the old iron road. A project of the "Green League", which was created together with the kindergarten children from Cunnersdorf. Information boards along the route about the various apple varieties make the route to Schlottwitz very entertaining. The footpath leads through Schlottwitz to the junction to Reinhardtsgrimma. Along the route, a multi-generational playground invites you to linger. After crossing the railroad line, the hiking trail (green and red line) leads up the hill to the right. Wonderful views of Schlottwitz await hikers after the ascent. The forest path that follows also offers numerous discoveries of flora and fauna. The fairytale meadow is not far away as the next destination. After a discovery break, the hiking trail (yellow line) leads back to Cunnersdorf.
