RR ERZ T06 From Zinnwald around Moldava

We continue along the I-6 past the Lugsteinen towards Kahleberg (905 m above sea level). On route 30 we come to the highest mountain in the Osterzgebirge, straight ahead for an additional 300 m, from above we have a view of Altenberg with its gallows ponds, the "Raupennest" spa center, the Geisingberg (824 m) and further north to Dresden. Back on the I-6, we ride downhill through the spruce forest to Rehefeld-Zaunhaus and on to the Grenzweg in Neurehefeld. Alongside the former Nossen-Moldava railroad line, the I-6 leads to Neuhermsdorf past the railroad museum and behind the Teichhaus it leads us up the hill onto Torfhausstraße. At the junction to the border crossing, we change to the I-6/23 and cycle slightly uphill on the Czech side to the R23a, which we keep left on until Nov é Město. Here we meet the R23 to the left. We soon cross the railroad bridge and reach Cinovec at the golf course through the forest along the high moor. Cross the border and you are back at the starting point. Tip: The nature trail across the Georgenfeld raised bog reveals interesting stories about this mystical area.
