The national park is a protected and regulated area: only use trails authorized for mountain bikers
Follow marked trails, do not take shortcuts and respect the direction of routes.
Before starting a route, make sure it suits your level, check your mountain bike’s condition and leave your route details with someone.
Be careful, courteous, and slow down when overtaking other users.
Pay extra attention during the hunting season and inquire about ongoing hunts.
If you encounter livestock guardian dogs (= patous), dismount, avoid sudden movements and walk around the herd.
Respect private property, cultivated areas, and close gates after passing through.
Be eco-conscious: take your waste with you and respect the fauna and flora for a preserved nature.
Always carry the IGN map corresponding to the concerned route.

From Nice highway to the Nice St Isidore exit (No. 52) or 51.1 (coming from Cannes), M6202 (formerly RN202), direction Digne. At the Mescla bridge, turn right onto the M2205, then turn right onto the M2565 to the villages of Valdeblore.

Free parking at the Colmiane ski resort

Enjoy a drink break in one of the villages and take advantage of the many bike-related services, such as battery charging points and a washing/inflation station at Colmiane.
