Pass by the Church of San Defendente on the left. A few meters later keep right and follow the signs for the Ussei in Galletto hamlet. Continue straight on asphalt. The trail entrance will be clearly visible and indicated on the right after a few minutes.
At the forks always follow the signs (purple or white/red) which are very clear and supported by 12 wooden crosses along the route.
Descent follows the same route back.

Suitable footwear and clothing according to the season are recommended.
There are no refreshment points or water along the trail, but at the little square at the start there is a fountain and a bar.
From Pinerolo follow the signs for San Pietro Val Lemina.
After passing the town center along via Europa, turn right onto via Mascagni and continue on via Costagrande until you reach the Church of San Defendente.
The trailhead is accessible by car but, due to the absence of parking on site, it is preferable to leave the car in the car park of the Church of San Defendente and reach the trail on foot (on asphalt).

Once at the top, the space around the Chapel of the Madonna della Neve is ideal for a picnic.
