BTB - Bar To Bar

The Bar to Bar, namely Barbaresco-Barolo is a 7-stage ring route that crosses a good part of the territory of Langhe Roero. It unwinds among low-traffic roads, unpaved roads, woods and dirt access roads, providing unique panoramas and unusual views.

It crosses villages and vineyards, provides history and nature, allowing to choose between one short and one longer route, designed for trekking on foot and off-road by bicycle, which can be travelled in both directions. The short ring from Barbaresco passes through Alba, then runs alongside the River Tanaro before climbing into the area of Barolo from Roddi Verduno La Morra and finally Barolo. The long ring, on the other hand, passes from Barbaresco through Neive and Treiso and into Alta Langa among the places of Fenoglio. It descends into the Belbo Valley and climbs it until Bossola Pass from where it re-enters on the main ridge of the Langhe towards the Tanaro Valley and then from Bossolasco-Serravalle and Roddino reaches Serralunga and Monforte and from there Novello and Barolo. The variant from Serralunga to Castiglione Falletto Monforte is possible.
