RING_CYCLOTHURISTIC_TORINO_SOUTH - Day 6 - from Casalborgone to Turin

From Casalborgone you almost immediately face an uphill slope through the chestnut and beech woods that characterize the Vaj Forest Nature Reserve. Reaching the village of Castagneto Po, the ascent ends and the descent towards the banks of the Po continues, still among woods and small villages. Some dirt roads (in case of heavy rains to be avoided, using the provincial road) cross the Chivassese river environment, leaving it for a short stretch along an artificial canal. Back through the fields beside the Po to Gassino and San Mauro, arriving at the gates of the city, in Meisino Park and from there to the center of Turin.
