The cycle path, funded by the regional "Safe Cycle Routes" call in 2018, connects the center of Pinerolo (Fenestrelle road) to Abbadia Alpina (linking to the UPSLOWTOUR route 12 "Valley Loop"), then continues along the Val Chisone passing through the municipalities of Porte and Villar Perosa, up to the terminus, currently planned at Pinasca.
The route runs mostly alongside Provincial Road 23; at Porte, the path diverts into the town center in a shared zone with a speed limit of 30 km/h. In Villar Perosa, the cycle path leaves the provincial road for a stretch, diverting toward the Finestra sulle Valli park, continuing through the market area before returning to the main route.

This cycle path connects to the city cycle path inaugurated in 2020, which in turn will continue in the opposite direction to the Porporata industrial area, linking to the Roletto-Piossasco foothill cycle highway from Via dei Rivetti. Upon completion, it will form a continuous cycle path from Pinasca to Piossasco, passing through the center of Pinerolo.
