You can reach this district from the city center conveniently in just a few minutes by public transport. The Eschheimertal is located on the heights of the Randen and is a popular recreational area for the population of Schaffhausen. In the middle of the valley is also the geographic center of the canton of Schaffhausen. It is marked in the middle of a field with a plaque on a large glacial erratic. The circular path leads through forest, meadows, and across fields and is just the thing if you are looking for peace and relaxation. At the beginning of the valley lies the Eschheimertal restaurant – a insider tip for hikers and walkers.

Further along the path you will find spacious resting places and barbecue areas that invite you to linger and recharge. The last section runs again along the same paths as at the beginning of the circular route.
