This challenging road bike loop takes you from Schaffhausen through the gently rolling hills of the Reiats. Challenging climbs alternate with descents and fast, flat stretches. Along the way, you'll ride through idyllic villages.
The tour starts in Schaffhausen and begins with a flat stretch along the Rhine to Büsingen. From there, the route continues through Dörflingen to Thayngen via gentle climbs. There, a flat section follows along a paved bike path beside the Biber River. The steepest climb is near Opfertshofen. After that, the route is mostly downhill through Lohn and Stetten back to Büsingen and along the Rhine back to Schaffhausen.

Then bike for just under 5 minutes to the Schaffhausen ferry terminal.
There are several parking garages available in Schaffhausen's Old Town. The closest one is the Schifflände parking garage.

On warm days, the Reiatbadi or the Lido Büsingen (slightly off the route) are great places to cool off.
