Family route (Buchs SG - Altstätten)

From Sargans to Buchs, the route leisurely follows the Rhine. Along the way, visit one of the largest bird of prey parks in Switzerland. The bird of prey park in Buchs offers a special experience for the whole family with its flight shows on weekends (during the summer season).
After a short distance, you will reach the next highlight: the historic small town of Werdenberg with its two museums, Castle and Schlangenhaus. Here, you immerse yourself in the world of the Middle Ages. After a refreshment in one of the surrounding restaurants, continue towards Lake Constance. While riding down the Rhine Valley, you will pass the village of Grabs. On the adventure trail "Grabser Mühlbach", you learn what water power was used for in the past and where it is still used today. Make a detour to the Staubern pulpit and take the environmentally friendly gondola in Sennwald up to Staubern. Enjoy a breathtaking view over the entire Rhine Valley to Lake Constance.
