The solitary trail

1. From the cave parking, pass through the wooden gate and follow the meadow. Once on the road, turn left and continue for 200 meters. Pass the house and the place called "Baudet".
2. Arrive at the sign announcing the solitary trail and pass through the chicanes. Continue for 80 meters (first reading table: snails)
3. Continue along the ledge for 200 m. Overlooking view of the Arize (second reading table: time).
4. Begin the climb under the limestone vault for 300 m (delicate and sometimes steep but arranged): pass the pile of stones arranged as a staircase, climb the ladder, join the handrail (third reading table: the lichen). Continue the ascent to the boxwood woods.
5. After crossing the woods, take a left following the sign "A solitary life". Continue along the fence.
6. Arrive at the Roc des Corbeaux (Roc des Courbasses in Occitan). Fourth reading table: the jackdaw. Clear view of the village and on clear days of the Pic de Saint Barthélémy, the Plantaurel chain and the Arize Massif. The last reading table is a little further: The Lizard. Viewpoint. You can discover a dry stone hut by going right (round trip).
7. Resume the route along the fence. Begin the descent for 500 m. Interactive marker to discover along the way.
8. Turn left towards the parking lot until the wooden gate joining the road.
9. Continue right to reach the cave parking by retracing the same path as on the way there.
