PECH BELET HIKE

To reach the start of the route, take the street on the left for 300 m. Turn right onto Louis-Clavel street then go up right along the Pech path.

In front of the stone masonry porch, follow the Pech track. It turns into a partly paved path and reaches a crossing of tracks.

Short variant of the route (1 hour, 2 km): take the track on the left for 550 m and stay on the main track that rejoins the route (yellow marking). 2. Take the track on the right and continue along the path on the edge of the plateau to the orientation tables (360° viewpoint). Descend along the path.

Take the track on the left and ignore paths on either side. Continue along the cemented track which goes down to the right through vineyards and olive plantations.

Below an olive grove, turn left between the stone blocks and climb up the Pech by a steep ascent under cedars (view of a dovecote) and scattered umbrella pines.

Descend along the track on the right, pass in front of the interpretation table (panoramic view over the village of Murviel-lès Béziers) and return to the start of the route.
