ENDURO LINK No.8 BACOULETTE LAUZET - VTT-FFC CAROUX SITE IN HAUT LANGUEDOC

This short strategic link (600 meters) is an essential checkpoint on the heights of Olargues for enduro riders. Located at the crossroads of the area's main routes, it connects the Col de la Bacoulette and the Lauzet sector.
Accessible via links No. 3 or No. 4, this nearly flat section (only 10 meters of elevation) primarily serves to access the start of three iconic specials: SP 24, SP 25, and SP 26. Though short, this part offers a moment of rest and smooth transition within a wild environment, typical of the schist reliefs of Espinouse. It’s the crucial start before engaging in the technical and demanding descents that make the VTT-FFC Caroux site in Haut Languedoc famous.
