This mountain bike circuit links Florensac, Agde and Marseillan through a wide variety of landscapes. It follows small country roads lined with vineyards, skirts the peaceful Canal du Midi and skims the Etang de Thau before crossing the Bagnas nature reserve. Between unspoilt nature, winegrowing heritage and Mediterranean ambience, this accessible 24 km loop promises a breathtaking escape in the heart of the Cap d'Agde Méditerranée region.
From north to south, around the Hérault river, from east to west between the Canal du Midi and the Mediterranean Sea, the mountain bike/Gravel-FFC area N°138 Cap d'Agde Méditerranée offers you a wide range of safe, signposted routes through contrasting landscapes. Between basalt plateaus and Languedoc vineyards, discover 24 circuits for all levels: very easy (1 green circuit), easy (15 blue circuits), moderately difficult (7 red circuits) and difficult (1 black circuit). Signposted links lead from Mèze, Agde, Bessan and Pézenas.

Departure from Vias: it is possible to join the circuit from Vias (Tourist Office) by taking the Agde - Vias link which follows the banks of the Canal du Midi
Want to do more? - In Agde, you can complete the circuit with the Grand Boucle d'Agde (circuit 23 mountain bike and gravel - 25 km). - In Florensac, you can continue north of the village on the Petit Picpoul' loop (circuit 18 VTT and gravel - 17km).
Follow the marked trails and respect the direction of the itineraries. Wearing a helmet is highly recommended. Check the condition of your mountain bike and bring repair accessories. Respect private property and cultivated areas, and watch out for agricultural and forestry machinery. Never light fires (cigarettes, campfires). Keep your garbage and be respectful of the environment. Avoid picking wild flowers, fruit and mushrooms. If you're going out on your own, leave your itineraries to those around you.
