Route of Sustainability

The Diemelsee Nature Park can be explored particularly well by bike. On the route presented here, you will not only experience the varied landscape between Brilon-Wald and Bredelar but also encounter climate-friendly and future-oriented solutions presented by villages and businesses. 

They all share one goal: to implement sustainability not just as a buzzword but as a concept of life in practice. 

A trekking bike is ideally suited for the route. In addition to paved paths, the route also goes over forest and farm roads. The total ascent is around 1,150 feet, with two steep climbs to overcome.

For the return journey, there is the option to use the train with bike transport.
