XW - 7th stage Stadtoldendorf - Bodenwerder

From the start of the stage, the half-timbered town of Stadtoldendorf, the Weserbergland Trail initially leads to Amelungsborn Abbey on this section. Experience its eventful history and discover the remarkable monastery garden. Continuing northwards to Holenberg, the trail passes through a dreamy landscape, also known as the "Tuscany of the North." Then follows a climb to the 26-meter-high Ebersnacken Tower, from which you can enjoy a unique 360° panoramic view of the idyllic valleys of the Weserbergland. Along lonely forest and nature paths, the route continues over the Vogler ridge to the Königszinne viewpoint. From here, you can already catch a glimpse of your stage destination, the "Home of the Baron of Münchhausen."
