This winter panorama path leads from Sta. Maria (1,342 m above sea level) to Müstair (1,247 m above sea level). After an initial slight ascent, it continues almost flat along the sunny side of the valley by the forest edge and gently descends towards the end. It is a comfortable walk that can also be easily done with children.
Walk from the PostAuto stop Sta. Maria, posta to the opposite Hotel Piz Umbrail, from there down the Via Paclera, past the Mühle Mall and the riding school. The path runs gently uphill along the forest edge on the right. At the fork, stay right and follow the path that runs flat along the sunny slope to Müstair Somvih.

From the North: via Landquart – Klosters by car shuttle through the Vereina tunnel (Selfranga - Sagliains) or via the Flüela pass to Zernez on H27. From Zernez on H28 into the Val Müstair to Sta. Maria (35 minutes travel time from Vereina South portal).
From the East: via Reschenpass (Nauders) on SS40 to Mals. From Mals on SS41 to the Swiss border at Müstair. From Müstair on H28 to Sta. Maria.
From the South: via Bolzano and Meran on SS40 to Mals. From Mals on SS41 to the Swiss border at Müstair. From Müstair on H28 to Sta. Maria.
By the Rhaetian Railway (from Chur, Landquart/Prättigau or the Upper Engadin) hourly to Zernez station
Then by PostAuto (from Zernez or Mals) hourly to the PostAuto stop Sta. Maria Val Müstair, posta
